Here's a breakdown of our typical expenses:

Hay: $6.00 per 50lb bale. Consumption varies by season, but 1-2 bales daily on average.
Senior Feed: $28.00 per 50lb bag. Consumption varies seasonally.
Alfalfa Cubes: $20.00 per 50lb bag, primarily used in winter and sparingly during spring and summer.

Supplements: Approximately $300 per month for various nutritional needs.
Grooming Supplies and Sprays: Around $80 monthly, varying with the season.
Emergency Vet Calls: Starting at $200.
Ultrasounds and X-rays: Starting at $175 each, plus $60 for the visit.
Bloodwork: Ranges from $165 to $350, plus a $60 call fee.
Dental Visits: Starting at $175 per horse, required up to four times a year.
Farrier Care: $55 for a barefoot trim and $200 for a trim with four shoes, needed every 4-6 weeks.
Hauling to Vet Hospital: $500 to New Bolton and back.
Training Sessions: $65 per hour.
Fence Materials: $8 per post and $220 per roll of mesh wire.
